Dan Morad
Founding Partner
Dan Morad has 15+ years of consumer products experience and is the founder of Critical Mass Group, a food and beverage brokerage firm. His team has relationships with over 18,500 retail locations and helps develop and execute an effective geographic and channel strategy to accelerate brand success. Dan’s involvement in CMG has resulted in a strong network within food and beverage, enabling him to source a high volume of propriety deals. Prior to CMG, Dan founded INVIGORADE and worked at Johnson & Johnson. Dan lives in Redondo Beach, CA and holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.
Gavin Coulson

Gavin Coulson founded Ardagh Ventures, the venture arm of Ardagh Group, the second largest glass manufacturer and third largest metal can manufacturer globally. He’s invested in 10+ emerging consumer brands and works tirelessly to achieve operational and unit economic improvements for all his portfolio companies. Gavin sits on five boards, ranging from direct-to-consumer wine to better-for-you sodas. Previously trained at Citigroup in leveraged finance, Gavin is now based in New York City and graduated from The University of Pennsylvania.
Brad Comisar
Vice President
Brad Comisar is an experienced investor in the food and beverage sector and has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion of invested capital. Prior to Terpsi, Brad worked at Butterfly Equity, a food and beverage-focused private equity firm with nearly $5 billion of assets under management. During this time, he was actively involved in numerous transactions including MaryRuth Organics, Chosen Foods, and Milk Specialties Global. Previously, Brad worked at Goldman Sachs where he was part of the Consumer Retail Investment Banking team with a primary focus on the food sector. Brad graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics and lives in Santa Monica, CA.
Ethan Gimbel
Associate
Ethan Gimbel brings experience across investment banking and venture capital. He began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Bank of America, where he advised on more than $1 billion in transactions primarily focused on consumer-oriented and technology-enabled healthcare companies. He also worked at Singtel Innov8, a global early-stage venture capital firm, where he sourced new deals and led diligence on potential investments. Ethan graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and lives in Marina del Rey, CA.
